We work with modern architects/designers and builders known for their modern and "green" designs.

Travis Young, Studio Momentum

Studio Momentum is an innovative architecture firm focused on incorporating sustainable design, cutting edge technologies and collaborative processes to achieve our goal: Great Architecture!

Through the use of the latest technology for architectural modeling, we can bring the client into the “virtual space” of their project. Building Information Modeling or “BIM” is the future of architectural design. The creation of a digital model can reveal and resolve problems prior to construction. Highly accurate photo real renderings allow the client to visualize the final product in exacting detail. This allows them to give appropriate feedback and become a larger part of the design process.

Architecture is not born in a vacuum. Studio Momentum believes in a collaborative process requiring communication between the client, builder, designer and community to produce meaningful work. We approach each project with open minds, technical skill and experience, and believe that together a true work of art can be realized.

Great Architecture is the goal. Collaboration, sustainability and modern technology are the way.

The work of Forsite Studio reflects a clean, modern sensibility infused with handcrafted custom details and a sensitivity to local vernacular. We are particularly interested in promoting sustainable design and construction, which starts with educating our clients on the positive impact to both the environment and the health of the end user. We believe that good design, sustainability, and economy are intrinsically linked. We salvage and reuse materials and structures wherever possible, incorporating and celebrating them in our designs, resulting in buildings of character and personality. Our varied backgrounds in architecture and sculpture inform our designs and shape our approach to each project. With completed work in the United States and abroad, we produce distinctive projects uniquely adapted to their local climate, culture, and context.

Guido Porto

Originally trained as a printmaker and fine artist, Guido Porto earned a M.A. in Architecture from SCI-Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture). In both Los Angeles and Tokyo, he was fortunate to learn from and work with some of the leading architects of the West Coast avant-garde that was bourgeoning in the 1980’s and 1990’s. In particular, Guido Porto studied under Neil Denari and Coy Howard.

As a practicing architect within that vibrant environment, Guido Porto worked in the studios of Frederick Fisher, Lawson-Burke Structural Engineers, and Rios-Clementi-Hale (formerly Rios Associates).

Today, Guido Porto’s work reflects a fresh, experimental, and aesthetically charged approach to all scales of design.

More specifically, Guido Porto’s designs strive to deliver a sense of interconnectivity in an era often marked by its opposite, while acknowledging and making use of the aesthetic potential of flux and juxtaposition.

Francois Levy

Francois Levy has been in private architectural practice since 1993, and has had his own design firm since 1997. He is a registered Texas architect and author of the book BIM in Small-Scale Sustainable Design. He holds both an M.Arch. and M.S. in architectural engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where he taught courses in digital technology and environmental design over a span of 13 years. In addition, Levy has also taught at The University of Texas at San Antonio and St. Edward's University.

His design work is founded on the belief that site, climate and technology can give architecture rich forms and expressions, and lend buildings beauty and relevance. His architectural projects have attracted regional and national press, including publication in Dwell magazine, a special feature on HGTV, and a profile on Houzz.com. Levy has presented and lectured widely on BIM (building information modeling) and taught software seminars to design professionals for more than 15 years. His areas of research interest are sustainable architecture, cooling through passive ventilation, and space architecture. In addition to the American Institute of Architects, Levy is also a member of the Space Architecture Technical Committee of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
